Please be aware that the annual event has been scheduled for this Sunday the 22nd of August with a 12pm kick off at Hartley Wintney F.C.
For those who are not aware, Mike was a player at the club for many years, who regularly won top goalscorer awards, but tragically lost his life in a car accident.
A fund was set up in his memory, and every year money is raised to help local schools etc.
As a club we would like as many people to make the effort to get down and support a great cause, and i know it will please Brian and Jenny who are always at our home games to see as many faces as possible from the club.
I am aware that a few players throughout the club are due to be playing, but i would urge everyone to make the effort to get down and show the support that Mike deserves.

Please read and share this information with friends and family etc so that everyone knows the drill for Sunday? As with previous years, an admission fee will be charged to spectators and a match fee to players. This will be £2-3 with all proceeds going to the Mike Ritchie Sports Fund.

Venue: Hartley Wintney FC

Timings:

10.00: HWFC will be open, serving tea, coffee and bacon rolls…
10.45: Can all players arrive by this time please?
11.55: The toss
11.58: 1 minute silence
12.00: Kick Off
14:00 Trophy Presentation

After the game the bar will remain open, food will be served and the FFC v Chelsea game will be shown on the big screen, KO is 4pm.

Players: Remember you black shorts and socks (Dynamo Campo), or white shorts and socks and shin-pads. And bring spare kit if you have it, because there’s always one…
