Neil Baker – Player Manager
New first team player manager, who has had a long career in non league, whose previous clubs include Farnborough Town, Aldershot Town, Boreham Wood, Sutton United and Bracknell Town. A centre half who is comfortable with the ball at his feet, injuries though could limit the amount of games he plays. Highlights include winning the Hampshire Cup, and playing in front of over 7000 people for Farnborough against Doncaster in the conference league cup final.

Ben Edwards – Player Assistant Manager
Player assistant manager for the 10/11 season, Ben is a classy player with speed and energy who can play anywhere in the midfield, he has also been known to play at the back, which gives him the versatile tag. Ben has spent the last 11 years of his career at Bracknell Town playing well over 350 games, and he was recently granted a testimonial against Aldershot Town legends. Highlights include playing in the 1st round proper of the FA Cup against Lincoln whilst in his early days at Bracknell.

Mark Appleby – Goalkeeper
Applesjoined the Spurs mid way through the 2009/10 season, and quickly went on to establish himself as 1st choice keeper.
He is a well liked lad, who is very capable in all aspects of goalkeeping.

Martin Bickley – Defender
Bickers is now in his second season at the Spurs having come over with assistant manager Ben Edwards last year.
Although he had a few injuries last year, Bickers was always available when needed, although towards the end of the season became a key player in the reserves winning their league title.

Jon Tanfield – Defender
Jon is also now in his second season with the Spurs having joined with his brother in the 09/10 season.
He brings with him an excellent attitude and work ethic, and out of all the players last season he was probably the most improved come the end of the season.
Should be a strong season for him once he finished his 2 game ban that he starts the season off with.

Kieren Arscott – Defender
Kieren has now been at the Spurs for a number of seasons, and will be looking to help improve the clubs results from last season. A likeable guy who is a very good defender, will listen to others around him, which will help him develop as a player, although due to a knee injury sustained last year, this may be his last season in football, and will therefore become the captain of the reserve team.

Phil Boddy – Defender
Bodds joined the club shortly before Christmas last season from Ascot United, and soon became an integral part of the team.
A cracking attitude and left foot to boot, with a good season behind him, he has the ability to step up a level or two, and will also be the clubs Vice Captain this season.

Daniel Sleet – Defender
Sleety joined the club mid way through last season, having joined from Chalfont Wasps and he made an immediate impact.
Still only 21 Dan has the ability to play at a higher level, but he needs to keep his concentration 100% of the time.
Will miss the start of the season due to tearing his ankle ligaments in pre season.

Danny Harrison – Defender
Danny is another new signing having recently joined from Frimley Green, where he was an ever present last year. A towering defender at 6 foot 7, he should cause problems in the oppositions box, as well as being able to snuff out the oppositions forwards. Has settled in very well, and marked his debut against Fawley with a tremendous strike after 1 minute of the game gone.

Stuart Tanfield – Winger
Tanners is an experienced player who started his career at Wokingham before playing at Aldershot, and starting against Accrington Stanley in the Shots first ever conference game. An attacking winger who likes to run at players, and get in crossers, who will also get in on the goals. He is also an ex Bracknell player, and joined from Binfield.

Ben Clisby – Midfielder/Defender
Ben is another player in his second year at the club, having joined from Bracknell Town.
Started last season as a central midfielder, but ended up the season as a right back, and a very good one at that.
Is quick and tenacious with a will to win, but will need to curb his anger at times.

Luke Thorn – Midfielder
Luke is a very tidy player who  joined from Hellenic Premier team Binfield, he had numerous sides he could have signed for when he left Binfield, but chose to come to Kennels Lane. Has a nice left foot and a holding role in midfield should suit him well.

(Profile picture to follow)
George Short – Midfielder
Only recently 16 George was recommended to the club by ex Farnborough Town coach Mike Critchell, and he has since settled in superbly.
Comfortable with the ball at his feet, and with great awareness of what is around him, this season should be very exciting for George as he steps into senior football for the first time.

Tom Chillery – Midfielder
Chillers is a classy young player who has a great left foot, and a delivery many a player would be jealous off. An injury put paid to his pre season, but since returning he has been an ever present, likes to get forward and create chances, but is also adding to his game by becoming more disciplined defensively. Has grown up through the Fleet Spurs ranks, and could have a big future in the game.

profile_pics_0006_Layer 11

Glen Mackenzie – Winger
Glen is another local lad, who has been at the Spurs for a number of seasons,  a cracking attitude who will listen to information, and will work his socks off for the team.

profile_pics_0007_Layer 10

Adam Crittenden – Striker
Critts is one of the most laid back blokes you will ever meet, but the lad has some incredible ability. He has scored goals at whatever clubs he has played at, which include Aldershot, Windsor, Bracknell, Cove and Binfield. Was another player who was part of the championship winning team at Binfield. Having scored 28 goals last year we expect him to surpass the 30 mark he has been set.

profile_pics_0002_Layer 15

Sam Knowles – Striker
Knowlesy is a real club man having been at the Spurs for a few years now, and who now also helps run the new youth team at the club. A real target man, who with the right deliveries should score 20 plus goals a season. Has worked very hard in pre season, and has set his standards high.

(Profile picture to follow shortly)
Luke Walsh – Striker
Walshie is the final player to have joined the Spurs pre season from Bracknell Town. A player who worked his way from the youth and reserves, to playing in the first team. A very versatile player who played at left back and centre half for Bracknell mens teams, but was the main striker in their successful youth team, netting over 35 goals. Has had a couple of injuries pre season, but he is also another one with a big future ahead of him.

(Profile picture to follow shortly)
Jack Chambers – Midfielder/Striker
Jack joined the club after finishing at Southampton uni, and although started in the reserves quickly became a mainstay of the first team.
Having joined the club as a striker who soon developed into a midfielder with his tenacity to win the ball back.
An injury again this pre season has put paid to the start of the season for him, and it will be doubtful if we see him playing before the middle of September.
