Under 8's All Kitted Out

With almost 40 children aged 6 and 7 joining Fleet Spurs this year the growth of the under 7 and under 8 squads has been a major success. Following on from this a recent very generous bequest from a family friend of one of the new recruits has benefited the squad greatly. As a result, and as the picture shows, the squad now have their regular home kit - in blue - together with a change strip of red shirts and also wet weather training tops in the team colours. They also have a visit to a Premiership match, Fulham v Blackburn, lined up with a coaching session beforehand with a top Academy coach.

This is a great example of how children can benefit from others generosity. Further opportunities exist at this age group and others for local individuals or companies to get involved with funding or volunteer assistance to help benefit children in a positive and healthy activity.
