Summer Soccer Academy 2010

For School Years R, 1, 2 and 3

Starts 26th June

Fleet Spurs Youth, a FA Charter Standard Development Club, will be running its successful 6 session “Summer Soccer Academy” once again this year.  

The sessions will be held across 6 consecutive Saturday mornings from 26th June through to 31 July inclusive. All sessions will be held at our grounds at Southwood pitches, Kennels Lane (opposite Nokia) and will run from 9.30am through to 11am.

The course is open to boys and girls from current school years, R, 1, 2 and 3 and all are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced players. The intention is to promote the fun, fitness and social aspects surrounding a team sport like football, but it needn’t stop there! Many of the children continue their association with Fleet Spurs and those in years 1, 2 and 3 can go on to join one of our teams for next season playing in the North East Hants Youth League. Year R children will have the opportunity to join our lively U6 group who train weekly on Saturday mornings throughout the season. 

The Summer Academy is run by FA qualified coaches, with extensive Youth Soccer training experience. All our coaches are CRB checked, and must complete both First Aid and Child Protection workshops as part of their FA certification.

If your son or daughter would like to take part please complete the registration form and bring it on the day with cash or cheque for £12 to cover all 6 sessions.
