Awards Night  2006/07

To celebrate the end of another successful season, with record numbers of signed up players for the youth teams, the 2006/07 Awards Night took place at the Harlington Centre, Fleet on Tues, 22nd May.  Each player received a Participation Award and then each squad had further presentations for Player of the Year, Special Award and Penalty Prize Winners.

The trophies were all presented by our guest of honour Hollis Boisson, the head goalkeeping coach at Reading Football Club's Academy. Before his career was cut short by injury, Hollis was the national  goalkeeper for his home country, Trinidad & Tobago playing alongside the likes of Shaka Hislop and Dwight Yorke. All at Fleet Spurs would like to thank him for taking the time out to support our event.

The evening was a huge success for everyone involved and here are some photos and quotes from attending parents....

"We were well impressed with tonight. Was very well organised & the trophies are brilliant. Many thanks to you, all the other managers & the committee for all their hard work. Keiran did well on the mixer desk!"

"The evening was really enjoyable and shows all the hard work you all put into the teams.  Thanks also for all the help and encouragement you have given my daughter, she loves coming to football!!"

"I am glad that we made it to last night as it was a brilliant night, Callum now has renewed enthusiasm for playing."
