Summer Soccer School 2008/09

Fleet Spurs Youth is a Football Association Charter Standard Development Club. As part of our ongoing community sporting program we recently ran a very successful 6 week “Introduction to Soccer” summer school.

The intention of the school was to introduce boys and girls, currently at Infant school to the fun, fitness and social aspects surrounding team sports like Football. It was also a feeder program for the Fleet Spurs Youth teams with current Year 1 and Year 2 pupils having the opportunity to sign up for next seasons Under 7’s and Under 8’s squads. Both squads will play in the Non-Competitive friendly based North East Hants Youth League on Saturday mornings.

With so many reception year children attending too the club is now also running an under 6 development program for the season with regular Saturday morning training sessions which should progress onto friendly matches later in the season.
