good game today everyone, the first half was very much a get to
know each other session, the inexperience of playing together
was evident and a 6 - 0 deficit at half time was probably a
deserved score line. The second half started much better, a more
solid defensive formation kept Hartley Wintney at bay for over
10 mins with Fleet pushing forward and attacking on many
occasions. I don't believe the 5 - 1 score line in the second
half really reflects the second half performance which I feel
was very even.
A special mention.
Aidan Lai - Excellent Defending, great tackling.
James McNicholas - For getting stuck in against some much bigger
lads.
Euan Champion - Never giving up, continuously tackling,
continuously pushing forward.
Daniel Barden - Lots of effort, great defensive work, pushing
forward at every opportunity and of course scoring the goal.
Congratulations everyone on a well played game, it will only get
better from here of that I am confident.
