Another exciting game, Spurs played magnificently and controlled 80% of the ball in the first half, Ludwig had a number of rapid counter attacks, which left our defence off footed, these resulted in 2 goals.

A fantastic second half performance from the whole team saw shot after shot at the Ludwig goal but nothing in the back of the net. Excellent performances were aplenty today, Jake Goddard had a stunning game in midfield, Euan Champion was a bright star in attack during the first half, and played equally well when switched to defence in the second half. Great performances from Bradley Gibbs, Robbie Coupland, Jake Brown and Daniel Barden who were all very unlucky not to score. An excellent midfield play from Mathew Farmiloe, saw he repeatedly pick the ball up in our half and drive it forward a performance that saw him take the Player of the Week trophy home.

I haven’t seen a period in any game where I was so certain that someone was due to score, the last ten minutes of the second half was stunning, and the most exciting 10 minutes of football I have seen in a long time.
